Getting around: The area is car-dependent. Drive times are short to nearby county roads and to US-11/GA-299; local roads are two-lane and can be winding. There is little or no local fixed-route public transit serving Wildwood — rideshare and taxis are limited; rental cars are recommended for most guests. Cycling is possible on quieter roads but many routes are hilly. Chattanooga (about 15–20 minutes by car) and Dalton (roughly 30–45 minutes) are the nearest regional centers for shopping, dining, medical care, and transit connections.
